A massive milestone is officially in the books. Australian standout and Official World Podium Finisher Anika Loftus (Team Loftus Racing) has wrapped up her highly anticipated overseas debut, making history as the first-ever female rider to wear the race jacket and represent the Edinburgh Monarchs!
Lining up for the Edinburgh Monarchs Speedway Academy in the WSRA National Development League, Anika hit the UK dirt alongside Kiwi standout Ben Whalley to form a lethal trans-Tasman combination. The opening weekend was a major success, highlighted by the squad storming to a dominant 57-33 victory over the Middlesbrough Tigers at Armadale Stadium.

To see our home-grown talent breaking records and paving the way makes the entire Australian motorsport community incredibly proud!
