JAYNE NORTON AND FAMILY JAP BIKES LEGACY

JAYNE NORTON AND FAMILY JAP BIKES LEGACY
Published: 6th May 2026, Brisbane.

We recently received this incredible piece of history from Jayne Norton Standing
“My family shopped at Georgie Greenwoods for JAP spares and diamonds all the time... we’ve had them for 4 generations now. We still ride them (where we can) to this day.”
Jayne’s family isn’t just “visiting” the track. They’ve been part of the furniture since the 1950s, riding bikes that link back to the very start.

Thank you for sharing your families legacy

Drop your stories in the comments or send us an email at info@nomaddirtculture.com. Every story you share is another brick in the wall we’re building to protect our sport:
Got old photos of your Pop at the track?
Got an old trophy or a receipt from a local legend like Georgie Greenwood?
How many generations has your family been coming to the dirt?
