Max Fricke Podiums in Vojens as Aussie Stars Swarm Speedway GP Standings

Max Fricke continues to prove why he belongs among the absolute elite on world speedway's biggest stage. Coming off an electric P3 podium performance at the Danish Speedway Grand Prix in Vojens, Fricke has pushed his way into 6th place overall in the SGP World Championship standings with 89 points.

The podium in Denmark coincides with a major career transition for the Australian star, who officially closed an emotional four-season tenure with Polish Ekstraliga club GKM Grudziądz, thanking the club and fans for making Poland his home away from home as he prepares for his next career chapter.

While Fricke commands the cover, the entire Australian contingent is putting the world on notice in the current SGP World Championship race:

  • Brady Kurtz (3rd Overall — 139 Points): Kurtz is locked in an incredible world title fight, sitting right on the heels of leader Robert Lambert (142 pts) and Bartosz Zmarzlik (141 pts) heading into the final stretch.

  • Max Fricke (6th Overall — 89 Points): Backed by a P3 finish in Denmark, Fricke holds tied on points in the top 6 global ranking.

  • Jason Doyle (9th Overall — 66 Points): Anchoring a strong position in the top 10 against the world's fiercest competitors.

  • Jack Holder (12th Overall — 55 Points): Representing Australian speedway grit across every round of the international circuit.

From local Australian dirt ovals to European stadiums, our riders are showing the world what green-and-gold motorsport heritage is made of.
