RILEY STOUT SECURES SILVER HELMET VICTORY AT NEPEAN AFTER THRILLING A-FINAL BATTLE

South Australian motorsport talent Riley Stout delivered a masterful performance to capture the Silver Helmet A-Final victory at Nepean. Despite navigating an unfamiliar track layout, Stout showcased exceptional adaptability and racecraft across all eight of his rides to take the top step of the podium.

The Nepean circuit presented a unique challenge for Stout, featuring a layout devoid of traditional straights that required drivers to turn almost continuously. This continuous cornering made passing difficult without securing a strong start from the gate. Adapting quickly, Stout persisted and put down an incredibly consistent run during the heats, securing finishes of 2nd, 1st, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 2nd, and 1st.

The event was highlighted by a fierce, ongoing rivalry with Queensland superstar Spencer Doyle. Doyle proved to be a formidable opponent, besting Stout during the heats and securing the inside line for the crucial A-Final. However, high-stakes pressure at the gate saw Doyle react slightly too quickly; he touched the band and was subsequently penalized with a 5-10 meter handicap.

Stout immediately capitalized on this opportunity, launching into the lead and driving a flawless race to secure a start-to-finish victory. Doyle staged an impressive charge through the field to recover and finish in second place, while fellow South Australian Cooper Karpinski followed closely to round out the podium in third.

Following the Silver Helmet victory, the Stout racing team expressed their gratitude to the local racing community and their dedicated support network.

"Big thank you to Mick and Karen for your hospitality," the team stated, while also extending their appreciation to Boycie for the invitation, as well as the club and volunteers who made the meeting possible. Stout noted that the long drive was entirely worth it and that he looks forward to returning to the track to gain more experience. A special acknowledgment was also given to Stout's father for taking on double duties to film the races throughout the day.

The team extended a formal thank you to the sponsors and supporters who back their 2026 racing campaign, including:
