In a major development shaking up the Australian sprintcar pit lane, it was reported today that driver Brodie Davis and the Queensland Speedway Spares Racing Team have officially parted ways.
The high-profile split comes following performance struggles across the opening two weekends of the 2026/2027 season, prompting team owners Bill and Robyn Mann to take the operation in a different direction.
As reported via an official statement issued by Brodie Davis Racing, the driver expressed deep appreciation for his two-year tenure with the team, which afforded him the opportunity to compete at marquee events nationwide.
"Whilst the decision is disappointing, I will always be very grateful for the opportunity Bill and Robyn Mann afforded me over the past two seasons," Davis stated in his release. "I remain as driven as I’ve ever been in my racing career, and I look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead... I will be back."
With a proven feature-race talent now officially entering the free-agent market early in the campaign, speculation has already begun regarding which major team will secure Davis for the remainder of the season.
