The news the Australian speedway community has been waiting nearly two decades for is officially live! Motorcycling Australia has just unleashed the 2027 Australian Senior Solo Speedway Championship calendar and it is an absolute blockbuster.
For the first time since 2008, the national showpiece event is making a historic return to the harbour city, with Western Sydney Speedway locked in to host the fourth and final championship decider round on January 9, 2027!
At 330metres long, the state-of-the-art Sydney venue is the biggest, giving the world’s best riders the ultimate space to stretch their legs and twist the throttle to the absolute limit. Local hero and reigning Aussie Champ Jack Holder will be primed to defend his crown right on his home dirt.
The high-stakes, 4-round summer pipeline is officially set:
Round 1 (Jan 2): Olympic Park Speedway, Mildura VIC Sponsored by Mallee Bearings Mildura
Round 2 (Jan 4): Gillman Speedway, SA Sponsored by CBS Bins
Round 3 (Jan 7): AWMCC - Albury Wodonga Motorcycle Club. Diamond Park, Wodonga VIC
Round 4 GRAND FINAL (Jan 9): Western Sydney Speedway, NSW
