THE DAUGHTER OF A CHAMPION VS. THE OLD GAURD.

|Jocelyn Dare
THE DAUGHTER OF A CHAMPION VS. THE OLD GAURD.
Published: 10th May 2026, Brisbane.

I don’t just “create content.” I document history.

Before I ever stepped into the pits, I spent the first 13 years of my life at sea with my father, Ron Johnson & family. I know what it means to survive and being in the engine was part of my everyday life, we were once stranded for three months with nothing but tuna and rainwater. At 13, I faced a different kind of survival when I lost my father to cancer. I earned a scholarship supported by the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) to study Business, a recognition of my father’s service in WWII.

I took that resilience into a decade of working hard yakka of the mining and construction sectors and I’ve brought it home to the sport that’s in my DNA.
Lately, the “Old Guard” has expressed “deep concern.” They’ve mocked our technology @djistoreau @dji and tried to defame our registered business as “pretending.” They claim this cannot be professional because ONE woman is operating it or perhaps the issue is simply that a WOMAN is operating it.
They see a calendar, I see a lifetime of data.

While they sit behind a screen, we are on the grounds, invested in this community and documenting the truth. They want to talk about “professionalism”? Let’s talk about Legacy:
I am the published author of “Big Bad Johno”, documenting the grit and lineage of this sport. I have preserved grassroots Motorsport in State/National Libraries, from original newspaper articles and scrapbooks dating back to the 1940s from my father’s personal collection.

While the establishment focuses on “40 years in the industry,” NDC is being featured by V8 Sleuth for forensic heritage verification.

Our “unprofessional” storytelling has hit over 3+ million organic viewers. Providing the sport with more visibility in months than legacy media has provided in years.
The establishment is terrified because they’ve spent 40+ years watching tracks CLOSE while staying stuck in the PAST. While they worry about maintaining their status quo, I’m focused on CHANGING bad habits and making the sport great.
NDC is the future and we are just beginning.
