The real work starts long before the gate drops. It starts in the shed, loading the outfit in Gunnedah, NSW and hauling it down the highway to the nation’s capital to face the absolute best in the country.
When Jim Jobling and Brodie Trembath rolled into Canberra for the Australian Titles, they were stepping onto a notoriously fast and flowing track. And they didn’t just show up to make up the numbers, they went straight to work.
Through the heats, the boys put on a masterclass in consistency against a stacked field:

Struggling to get the bike hooked up and the power into the dirt, they fought a brutal battle, crossing the line to claim 4th in Australia.
Despite a massive top 4 national finish, the hunger inside the helmet is what really defines this crew. In Jim’s own words:
“It’s only the 2nd time in 14 meetings that Brodie and I have missed a podium, so it hurt... but there’s always another one.”
They gave it a massive crack, took the result on the chin and are already planning to getting the bike sorted for the next battle. That is the exact mindset that drives the grassroots scene forward.
