VALE CLAUDIA "PIPI" ROJAS (1979–2026)

BAHÍA BLANCA, ARGENTINA

Motorsport is a global language spoken on dirt, asphalt, and steel across every continent. Whether standing on the terraces of Australian speedways or watching the dirt fly in South America, the bond shared by racers, families and fans knows no borders.

Nomad Dirt Culture (NDC) joins the international racing community in expressing deep respect and heartfelt condolences to competitors, families, and track communities across the globe following the passing of former karting champion Claudia "Pipi" Rojas at age 45.

Claudia’s life was woven into the fabric of Argentine motorsport. Based in Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina—a renowned hub for South American speedway and home to iconic venues like Hector E. Plano at Acceso Rodolfo Spil 501—she represented a rich family tradition. As the daughter of former motocross icon Luis Ricardo "Cacho" Rojas, Claudia earned her own legacy on the track as a karting champion. Her family's dedication to the sport endures despite immense sacrifice, including the loss of her brother Sergio during a speedway event in Bahía Blanca in 1995.

As an independent media platform dedicated to celebrating raw, unfiltered racing culture worldwide, Nomad Dirt Culture sends solidarity, strength, and utmost respect to the Rojas family, the local racing community in Bahía Blanca, and racers around the globe who carry the spirit of the sport forward.
